The name of a tool based on the material from which it is made is not

uncommon; in the language, exactly the same movement of the meaning is

noted: ‘iron’ → ‘plowshare’, ‘ploughshare bone’ (see below); Ossetic

<ref type="xr" target="#entry_qæd_1"/> ‘wood’ also means ‘handle’,
|
