<w>weft</w></mentioned> with identical meaning is not accident. Both these words are
derived from the verb <gloss><q>weave</q></gloss> (Ossetic <ref type="xr" target="#entry_wafyn"/>, <mentioned xml:lang="ang"><lang/>
<w>wefan</w></mentioned>). <mentioned xml:lang="ru"><lang/>
<w>utok</w></mentioned> is also connected with <mentioned xml:lang="ru"><w>tkat'</w></mentioned>. On the Iranian ground see <mentioned xml:lang="xco"><lang/>
