‘сабля’. Вторая часть <hi rendition="#rend_italic">-ʒæm</hi> не ясна. В дигорской форме <hi rendition="#rend_italic">-baʒæ</hi>
|
|||
|
|
сопоставляется с <hi rendition="#rend_italic">kurd-baʒæ</hi> ‘кузница’. Может быть, <hi rendition="#rend_italic">b</hi> — перебой из <hi rendition="#rend_italic">w</hi>;
|
|||
|
|
в этом случае сюда можно было бы присоединить и <ref type="xr" target="#entry_mydaʒ"/> ‘воск’ из <hi rendition="#rend_italic">myd-waʒ</hi> и видеть в <hi rendition="#rend_italic">*waʒ</hi> слово со
|
|||
|
|
значением ‘место’, ‘вместилище’, вариант слова <ref type="xr" target="#entry_wat"/> с тем же значением.</etym>

version of <hi rendition="#rend_italic">w</hi>; in thic case one could have added here the word <ref type="xr" target="#entry_mydaʒ"/> ‘wax’ from <hi rendition="#rend_italic">myd-waʒ</hi> and consider <hi rendition="#rend_italic">*waʒ</hi> to be a

word with the meaning of ‘place’, ‘container’, a variant of the word <ref type="xr" target="#entry_wat"/> with the same meaning.</etym>
