<note xmlns="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0" xml:lang="en" type="comment">. — In Digor, we
find in similar expressions <w>stug</w> and not <w>sug</w>, — see, for instance, the
entry <ref type="xr" target="#entry_styg"><w>styg</w>
<gloss><q>tuft</q></gloss></ref> etc. for the reference (<bibl><ref type="bibl" target="#src_LQ"/>
<biblScope>III 41</biblScope></bibl>). Moreover, in Iron itself, in the same South
Ossetian folklore texts, we find the phrase: <example xmlns="http://ossetic-studies.org/ns/abaevdict">
<quote xmlns="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0"><?oxy_comment_start author="Vados" timestamp="20221101T131819+0300" comment="Правильно вставлен пример?"?>qæd<?oxy_comment_end ?>

<bibl xmlns="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0"><ref type="bibl" target="#ref_ЮОПам."/>
<biblScope>II 117</biblScope></bibl>
</example>. Here <w>stæggaj</w> is an obvious typo instead of <oRef>styggaj</oRef>. All
this makes it possible to claim that <oRef>syg</oRef> in the examples above is used
instead of <w>styg</w>and refers to the nest <ref type="xr" target="#entry_styg"><w xml:lang="os-x-iron">styg</w>
<w xml:lang="os-x-digor">stug</w></ref>, q. v</note>
</exampleGrp>
<note xml:lang="ru" type="comment">. — В аналогичных выражениях в дигорском находим
<w>stug</w>, а не <w>sug</w>, — см., например, под словом <ref type="xr" target="#entry_styg"><w>styg</w>
<gloss><q>клок</q></gloss></ref> и пр. цитату (<bibl><ref type="bibl" target="#src_LQ"/>
<biblScope>III 41</biblScope></bibl>). Более того, в самом иронском, в тех же
югоосетинских фольклорных текстах, встречаем фразу: <example xmlns="http://ossetic-studies.org/ns/abaevdict" xml:lang="os-x-south">
<quote xmlns="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0"><?oxy_comment_start author="Vados" timestamp="20221101T131819+0300" comment="Правильно вставлен пример?" id="itf_lwc_swb" flag="done"?><?oxy_comment_start author="oleg" timestamp="20230305T134945+0300" parentID="itf_lwc_swb" comment="да, но надо было язык проставить (&quot;ю.&quot;; если иронский, то &quot;и.&quot; и т.п.), иначе пример трактуется как русский, и форматирование неправильное" flag="done" mid="3"?>qæd<?oxy_comment_end mid="3"?><?oxy_comment_end ?>
stæggaj <note xml:lang="ru" type="comment">(sic!)</note><note xml:lang="en" type="comment">(sic!)</note> zǧældī </quote>
<bibl xmlns="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0"><ref type="bibl" target="#ref_ЮОПам."/>
<biblScope>II 117</biblScope></bibl>
</example>. Здесь <w>stæggaj</w> — явная опечатка вместо <oRef>styggaj</oRef>. Все это
дает право утверждать, что <oRef>syg</oRef> в приведенных выше примерах стоит вместо
<w>styg</w> и относится к гнезду <ref type="xr" target="#entry_styg"><w xml:lang="os-x-iron">styg</w>
<w xml:lang="os-x-digor">stug</w></ref>, q. v.</note>
