Поэтому соответствие <mentioned xml:lang="grc"><w>Οὐταφάρνης</w></mentioned> = <mentioned xml:lang="oos"><lang/> <w type="rec">Wacæfarnæ</w></mentioned> правомерно; ср. <mentioned xml:lang="grc"><w>Τεἰσπης</w></mentioned> = <mentioned xml:lang="peo"><lang/> <w>Čišpiš</w></mentioned>, <mentioned xml:lang="grc"><w>Τισσαφερνης</w></mentioned> = <mentioned xml:lang="peo"><lang/> <w type="rec">Čis͜safarnah-</w></mentioned> и др. По типу композита (сложение из двух культовых

<etym xml:lang="en">Greek did not have the phonemes <c>č</c>, <c>c</c>, and they were
substituted with <c>τ</c> or <c>ζ</c> when rendering foreign words. Thus equating
<mentioned xml:lang="grc"><w>Οὐταφάρνης</w></mentioned> = <mentioned xml:lang="oos"><lang/> <w type="rec">Wacæfarnæ</w></mentioned> is justified; cf. <mentioned xml:lang="grc"><w>Τεἰσπης</w></mentioned> = <mentioned xml:lang="peo"><lang/> <w>Čišpiš</w></mentioned>, <mentioned xml:lang="grc"><w>Τισσαφερνης</w></mentioned> = <mentioned xml:lang="peo"><lang/> <w type="rec">Čis͜safarnah-</w></mentioned> and others. As for the compound type (compounding two
