Второе слово в значении другой — использовано для обозначения уже не прошедшего, а будущего: īnnæbon послезавтра. Ср. также abon сегодня, ībon на-днях, ærdæbon давеча. From ændær other and bon day with the linking element -æ-. The second word with the meaning other, is used to denote the future, not the past: īnnæbon the day after tomorrow. Cf. also abon today, ībon the other day, ærdæbon lately.
