К приведенному под ræmun сравнительному материалу можно добавить: urimb- : urivd останавливать ( 243), ????-останавливаться, стоять, vramov- останавливать, parom(b)- удерживать, püträm- : potromd задерживать, останавливать, patrām- (ptr'm-)успокаивать ( 1933, стр. 56. — I 209), ōram- ('wr'm)успокаивать, rāmē iītan давать покой, блаженство, rāmayeiti, rāmayati останавливает, успокаивает, приводит в состояние покоя. Инхоативная основа ram-s- отражена в ōrams- ('wrms)успокаиваться, urofs-, wərəfs-, wərafs- стоять, wərəfsüv- останавливать, заставлять стоять ( 290). — Неожиданным является гласный a перед m в oramun (вместо o); диссимилятивная делабиализация? — Ср. ræmun, romyl, ræmon, næræmon. 864. — II 51; 20, 60. — 62. — 82, 95. rem- peace, be at peace is widespread in the Iranic languages. ūromyn oramun goes back to ava-rāmaya-, where rāmaya- is the causative stem meaning put to rest. The medial verb is also preserved in Ossetic: ræmun stand, stay put ( 374). A lot of material on the topic has been put under ræmun, but we could also add the following: urimb- : urivd stop ( 243), vram-stop (intr.), stand, vramon- stand, parom(b)- hold back, püträm- : potromd delay, stop, patrām- (ptr'm-) calm ( 1933, p. 56. — I 209), ōram- ('wr'm) calm, rāmē iītan give peace, bliss, rāmayeiti, rāmayati he stops, he calms, he puts to rest. The inchoative stem ram-s- can be seen in ōrams- (ʼwrms) calm down, urofs-, wərəfs-, wərafs- stand, wərəfsüv- stop, make stand ( 290). — The vowel a before m in oramun (instead of o) is unexpected; dissimilative delabialisation? — Cf. ræmun, romyl, ræmon, næræmon. 864. — II 51; 20, 60. — 62. — 82, 95.
