название дзуара (божества-демона). Отправляясь на воровство и вообще на ночные разъезды, осетины призывают покровительство святого Черного всадника, Саубарæджы дзуар. Они полагают, что этот дзуар едет в черной одежде, на вороном коне, впереди путника и направляет его к удачному предприятию ( II 254). По другим сведениям, Саубараг имеет власть над волками и, стало быть, является двойником Тутыра. В сказании об абреке Лоло антиподом и противником Саубарага выступает Уастырджи (св. Георгий) — всадник в белой одежде, на белом коне the name of (the deity or the demon).
