This culturally and historically interesting word has exact matches in East Caucasian languages: jej, jej, jaj,For the alternation Ossetic g — Ingush, Chechen j cf.: — säj, — täj, — lej. hag, in dialects ẋagi, čagi (); here also belong, probably, hajak, hejek, jaʽak. It is established that cauldron production in Daghestan has a long history and is famous outside of its territory.
