Miller, there is ahu- life, existence, asu- id. If we accept this interpretation, then Ossetic fyd-æx = duž-anhu- hell by derivation pattern and it is related to the latter word the same way as fyd-q˳yn [see ] is related to dyz-ǧun (*duž-gauna-) [see ].
