скромный в еде modest in food мало едящий eating little Может быть, из *kom-xu-æl ← *kama-hu-arya- „наделенный (arya) хорошим (hu) ртом (kama)“. Ср. ‘рот’, а для последней части ar- наделять. May be, it is from *kom-xu-æl ← *kama-hu-arya- “vested with (arya) good (hu) mouth (kama)”. Cf. ‘mouth’, and in the last part there is ar- to vest.
