См. под ‘круглый’. Колебание значений (‘затылок’ || ‘морда’), как в группе слов, приведенной под (‘лоб’ || ‘тыл’). As caput head etc., it is related to the group of words, originated because of “sound symbolism” and characterized by sound type kp, kpt with the meaning ‘round’, ‘prominent’ etc. See under ‘round’. The variation of meanings (‘back of the head’ || ‘muzzle’) is the same as in the word group, given under (‘forehead’ || ‘rear’).
