влажный humid мокрый wet влага moisture По Вс. Миллеру, м. б. из cʼæmæl, если только это слово одного корня с cʼymara лужа (ОЭ II 99). Нет ли связи с и славянской группой мочити и пр.? According to Ws. Miller, maybe from cʼæmæl, if only this word has the same root as cʼymara puddle (OÈ II 99). Could there be a connection to and the Slavic words močiti make wet etc.?
