XXVIII 161) из monъšь- — manusya- человеческий, manna, Mann мужчина, муж. — Некоторые скифо-сарматские имена содержат, весьма вероятно, это слово: Μανα, Μαμμαρος = man-mar мужеубийца, ср. moj-mar название ядовитого растения, Μανδασος = man-das decemvir и др. Д. mojnæ вышло из употребления; в значении муж употребляется , но у Güldenstädtʼa ( II 538) находим mojne Ehemann, в словаре Екатерины II мойне мужъ и у Шегрена ( 103) moj | mojne муж, супруг. — Ср. . II 88; 35. — 172. — 1962 IV 42. Goes back to manu- person, man, husband with regular insertion of j before n (cf. æncoj æncojnæ, sagoj sagojnæ etc.: 374) and with secondary final -æ in Digor. The word is very poorly represented in Iranian; in Avestan only as part of a proper name Manuš-čiθra-, Manuščihr, cf. also mâneš person, man( I 115, 272; from Indo-Aryan?); further: manu- person, man, mǫžь from mangya- or (Machek, Zeitschrift f. Slav. Phil. XXVIII 161) from monъšь- — manusya- human (adj.), manna, Mann man, husband. — Some Scytho-Sarmatian names quite probably include this word: Μανα, Μαμμαρος = man-mar man-killer, cf. moj-mar name of a poisonous plant, Μανδασος = man-das decemvir etc. Digor mojnæ is out of use; the meaning husband is expressed by , but in the works of Güldenstädt ( II 538) we find attested mojne Ehemann, in the dictionary of Catherine II мойне мужъ (mojne husband) and in Sjögren ( 103) moj | mojne muž, suprug (husband, spouse). — Cf. .
