The form pelæwan noted in one case in this meaning speaks in favour of this theory: mæ zærdæ pelæwanæj cæfsuj my heart is burning with a stormy flame from an unpublished M. Sabeev’s poem . A sound development pelwan → pīllon | pellon is regular. See .
