растение, ядовитое для скота, особенно лошадей plant that is poisonous to livestock, especially to horses волчник mezereum Daphne mezereum Daphne mezereum (?) (?) Буквально козье () лыко (). Любопытно, что в русском растение Daphne называется волчье лыко (Ботанический атлас. М.—Л., 1963, стр. 197; I 233). Груз. (диал.) xačʼmačʼičʼa название растения (), вероятно, не имеет сюда отношения. Literally it is goat () bast (). It is interesting that in Russian the plant Daphne is called wolf bast (Botaničeskij atlas [The Botanical Atlas]. Moscow and Leningrad, 1963, p. 197; I 233). xačʼmačʼičʼa the name of the plant (), probably, has no relation to the Ossetic word.
