Группа nk может давать рр (mp): æppæt | ænkæt все ( 170), tunkʼur | tuppur выпуклый ( 465), д. cænkul ‖ cæmpul безрукий ( 445). Подъем гласного æ → а в сложении такой же, как в специальный из særmæ-kond. Probably, from særæn-kond, where in the first part there is a form of dative case from in the meaning reason, motive (see above head), in the second part there is a past participle from do (the intermediate form is Digor særapgond, see above). The consonant claster nk may result in pp (mp): æppæt | ænkæt all ( 170), tunkʼur | tuppur convex ( 465), Digor cænkul ‖ cæmpul armless ( 445). The vowel rising æ → a in compounding is the same as in special from særmæ-kond.
