Такие произвольные фонетические вариации характерны для звукоизобразительных слов, и к ним надо относить и рассматриваемые слова. Ср. təqər кусок, ломоть, обломок ( СМК XII 280). В значении шар ср. также tägäläk круг, круглый ( III 1032). The words tægæl and tækkwæl apparently cannot be separated from each other. Such arbitrary phonetic variations are typical of onomatopoetic words, and the words in question should also belong to them. Cf. təqər piece, scrap, shard ( Sbornik materialov o Kavkaze [Collection of materials on the Caucasus] XII 280). In the meaning of ball cf. also tägäläk round, circular ( III 1032).
