Ossetic ʒyx | cʼux has close correspondences in Caucasian languages, as well as in Russian dialects: z’ok, ʒok beak, ǯux mouth, maw (280), a-č’ə, čε, že, žeh (158), ž’e mouth; čuxa snout, čuxa lower jaw, chin.
