A deverbal noun derived from the verb xsnyrsyn sneeze. The suffix -æg derives in this case not nomen agentis, as usual, but nomen actionis; cf. in this respect x˳yfæg cough, xūdæg laughter, rīzæg fever, zaræg song ( 569; § 110). See xsnyrsyn.
