Its meaning is close to the meaning of kʼūlbadæg (see under ) and, as well as the latter one, it should be related to kʼul ‘inner corner of a house’, ‘wall’, although Digor forms are different (kʼolæ || kʼwæl). The development of the meaning: “the one sitting at home” → ‘naughty (child)’.
