обвязка отверстия маслобойки, обычно из кожи теленка, козы, овцы, а также из желудочного пузыря или перепонки harness of the hole of the churn, usually made of the skin of a calf, goat, sheep, as well as of the gastric bladder or membrane Маслобойка представляет обычно высокую кадку (); в нее наливают молоко, затем кладут на особую качалку (), и женщина, сидя на корточках, резкими толчками болтает ее, пока (через 30—40 минут) не выделится масло. По свидетельству (71), горные грузины (мтиульцы) заимствовали данную технику сбивания масла, с которой неразрывно связан термин sera, у своих соседей, осетин Ксанского ущелья. На северноиранской же почве эта техника свидетельствуется от глубокой древности (см.: 290 под словом carv масло, — сообщения Геродота и Гиппократа). Это делает вероятным, что термин sera воспринят в грузинские говоры от соседей-осетин. According to (71), mountain Georgians (Mtiulians) borrowed this churning butter technique, to which the term sera is inextricably connected, from their neighbors, the Ossetians of the Ksani Gorge. As for North Iranian people, this technique is attested there from ancient times (see: 290 under ther word carv butter, — Herodotus’ and Hippocrates’ messages). This makes it possible that the term sera has entered into Georgian dialects from Ossetian neighbors.
