Сюда же, очевидно, säturdan, suturdan чистить, скоблить, стирать, сбривать, awi-star- nettoyer ( 58). Данную основу не следует отделять от общеиндоевропейской базы ter- тереть ( 1071 сл.): trěti, тереть, tero, τείρο и пр. На иранской почве имеем либо s-mobile, либо сращение с превербом us-: us-tar- → star-. Ср. сак. ustarändä they wiped away ( 1953 ,стр. 105). II 249. The word is close to the group of the East Iranian verbs with the meaning rub, wipe, sweep etc.: star-, ster-, stor-, stōr-, star- : stuld, astar-, zdar-, sᵊtar-, zedār-, astar- ( 167. — I 236, II 248—249, 382. — 357. — 234). Here, obviously, säturdan, suturdan clean up, scrape, wash, shave, awi-star- nettoyer ( 58). This stem should not be separated from the common Indo-European stem ter- rub ( 1071 ff.): trěti, teret’, tero, τείρο etc. There is s-mobile in Iranian languages, or the fusion with the preverb us-: us-tar- → star-. Cf. ustarändä they wiped away ( 1953, p. 105). II 249.
