Вероятно, родственно слову ‘ляжка’ (← haxta-). ‘танец на носках’ состоит, вероятно, из ængulʒ+æx (инверсия вместо æx-ængulʒ) ‘палец ноги’. Этот же элемент в .%nGerschevitchXIV 488Gerschevitch, BSOAS XIV 488. Cf. haxa- foot or ‘part of foot’. It is probably related to the word ‘thigh’ (← haxta-). ‘a dance on toes’ probaly consists of ængulʒ+æx (inversion of æx-ængulʒ) ‘(foot's) toe’.
