Для умилостивления его совершался следующий обряд… Молодые люди составляли хор и с трещотками в руках отправлялись по аулам, распевая песни… Приближаясь к аулу, они останавливались, становились в кружок и пели протяжно песнь Рыныбардуагу: «Ой Рыныбардуаг! От тебя наши болезни и здоровье. Сохрани этот аул от твоего гнева, старые и молодые — твои гости». Жители аула встречали певчих, приглашали их на площадь и щедро угощали. Подвижный хор в каждом ауле делал ночевку, не переставая петь день и ночь. Жители за это дарили им быков, коров, баранов и проч. Из набранного скота лучшие животные, по возвращении в аул, приносились в жертву Рыныбардуагу, остальные же делились подворно, и затем каждый хозяин откармливал «нывонд» ко дню Рыныбардуага
