Вторая часть, с звуковой стороны, может быть с равным правом восстановлена и в ‘потолок’ и в | сʼaræ ‘слой’. Принимая во внимание, что первое слово в дигорском отсутствует, да и по смыслу больше подходит второе, мы восстанавливаем byn-cʼar | bun-cʼaræ, буквально „нижний слой“. In the first part there is apparently | bun ‘bottom’. Phonetically, the second part may be equally reconstructed as ‘ceiling’ and as | сʼaræ ‘layer'. Taking into consideration that the first word does not exist in Digor and the second one seems right for the sense, we reconstruct byn-cʼar | bun-cʼaræ, literally “lower layer”.
