Phonetically it perfectly matches *čakāt (čkʼt) forehead, čakād top of the head, top, čakāt, (from ) cʼakʼatʼ лоб, kakātikā- part of the forehead bone ( kakāt- : cægat — karkas- : ) We deal with the split of the meaning: ‘forehead’ ↔ ‘rear area’; cf. Ossetic Iron ‘back of the head’ and kʼæbot snout; the same semantic relations are in lob — λόφος back of the head. čeget Northen slope, and also ‘forest’ are close to the Ossetic word.
