Принимая во внимание, что всякие уклонения от нормы в сфере психики приписывались действию бесовых сил, мы готовы понимать fælxærst, в точном соответствии с основным значением глагола, как „унесенный, увлеченный (нечистой силой)“. Ср. (в сращении с другим превербом) ‘развлекать’ („уносить сознание в другую область“). Сюда можно было бы отнести и par-xarš (prɣrš) умерший (= „унесенный смертью“). It is difficult to see in this word anything other than the past participle of *fælxæssyn, *fælxærsyn, not used now, but representing an obvious fusion of the preverb fæl- with , xærsun ‘carry’ etc. (*pari-karsta-). However, the ideosemantics is not clear, since the meanings of the verb xæssyn are diverse. Taking into account that all deviations from the norm in the sphere of the psyche were attributed to the action of demonic forces, we are ready to understand fælxærst, in exact accordance with the basic meaning of the verb, as ‘carried away (by evil spirits)’. Cf. (fused with another preverb) ‘entertain’ (‘take consciousness to another area’). The word par-xarš (prɣrš) dead could also be compared to it (= ‘carried away by death’).
