Что касается -m-, то это — либо удлинение корня, как в dormio, premo, tremo ( 284, 807, 1054) или в dramati рядом с drāti бежит, либо остаток аффикса -wa-, характеризующего определенный класс глагольных основ (тип turvati: Bartholomae, I 1 78—79). Ср. такие пары, как haraiti и haurvaiti бережет. Переход w → m в tuzmun отражал бы в этом случае обычную вариативность этих сонантов ( 1973 VI 185–187). — С носовым инфиксом этот же глагол представлен в tynʒyntunʒun (= tuñǰ-). Стало быть, глаголы tuzmun и не только по значению, но и этимологически оказываются идентичными. — В иронском диалекте глагол tyzmyn в спрягаемых формах отсутствует.
