какого-то языка, послужившего посредником между персидским и осетинским; что
касается д. <hi rendition="#rend_italic">kezapp</hi>, то оно возникло как противоставление иронской форме, т.
е. как „гипердигоризм“, так же как д. <hi rendition="#rend_italic">kexotka</hi> из и. <hi rendition="#rend_italic">čеxotka</hi> (русск.

<hi rendition="#rend_italic">āb</hi> water). The change <hi rendition="#rend_italic">t</hi><hi rendition="#rend_italic"></hi>(<hi rendition="#rend_italic">c</hi>) may reflect the pronunciation
of some language, which served as a mediator between Persian and Ossetic; as for
Digor <hi rendition="#rend_italic">kezapp</hi>, it originated as the opposition for the Iron form, i.e. as a
“hyper-Digorism”, the same way as Digor <hi rendition="#rend_italic">kexotka</hi> from Iron <hi rendition="#rend_italic">čexotka</hi>
(Russian <hi rendition="#rend_italic">čaxotka</hi> tuberculosis).</etym>
