прежде исключительно к домашней утке. Для дикой утки осетинский имел старое
иранское название <ref type="xr" target="#entry_acc"/> q. v. Знакомство с
домашней уткой, а также гусем (см. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_qaz"/>)
относится, по свидетельству языка, к более позднему времени, чем с дикой уткой.

applied only to domestic ducks. For wild ducks there was old Iranian notion <ref type="xr" target="#entry_acc"/> q. v in Ossetic. Introduction to domestic
ducks and geese (see <ref type="xr" target="#entry_qaz"/>) refers, according to
the language data, to a later time than introduction to wild ducks. Cf. also
