‘внутренний угол дома’, ‘стена’, хотя дигорские формы расходятся (<hi rendition="#rend_italic">kʼolæ</hi> ||

<hi rendition="#rend_italic">kʼwæl</hi>). Развитие значения: „сидящий дома“, „сидня“ → ‘баловень’.</etym>

<etym xml:lang="en">Its meaning is close to the meaning of <hi rendition="#rend_italic">kʼūlbadæg</hi> (see under

<ref type="xr" target="#entry_kʼūl"/>) and, as well as the latter one, it

||
should be related to <hi rendition="#rend_italic">kʼul</hi> ‘inner corner of a house’, ‘wall’, although Digor
|
||
forms are different (<hi rendition="#rend_italic">kʼolæ</hi> || <hi rendition="#rend_italic">kʼwæl</hi>). The development of the meaning:
|
||
“the one sitting at home” → ‘naughty (child)’.</etym>
