‘spoilt’: <hi rendition="#rend_italic">būstæ kænyn</hi> means in fact “to behave like a spoilt creature”. If

so, then <hi rendition="#rend_italic">būstæ</hi> has the connection with the word <ref type="xr" target="#entry_būz"/> ‘gratitude’. It is possible, however, that we deal
