первоначальный и в каком направлении следует вести этимологические поиски. В высокой
степени вероятна связь с <ref type="xr" target="#entry_xætæl"><w>xætæl</w>

which of them is original and in which direction the etymological search should be
conducted. It is highly likely to be associated with <ref type="xr" target="#entry_xætæl"><w>xætæl</w>
