Неимение собаки как

синоним крайней степени нищеты, беспомощности и несостоятельности характеризует
|
||
определенный хозяйственный уклад: такое выражение могло возникнуть только на
|
||
основе пастушеского быта. Действительно, у горных осетин скотоводов выражение
|
||

The lack of a dog as

a synonym for extreme poverty, helplessness and failure characterizes a certain
|
||
economic structure: such an expression could arise only in a pastoral economy.

Indeed, among the mountain Ossetians, the expression <mentioned xml:lang="os-x-iron"><s>k˳yʒ dær æm næj</s>
