‘вокруг’ неправдоподобен. Может быть, перед нами удвоение наречия <ref type="xr" target="#entry_fal-"/> с перебоем гласных (<hi rendition="#rend_italic">*pāram-puram</hi>); ср. такие удвоения, как <ref type="xr" target="#entry_tybar-tybur"/> ‘блеск’, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_gybar-gybur"/> ‘грохот’ и др. (<bibl><ref type="bibl" target="#ref_РОсл."/><biblScope>588</biblScope></bibl>). И. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_alfamblaj"/> ‘вокруг’ получилось из <phr>aly
falæmbylaj</phr> (<ref type="xr" target="#entry_aly"/> ‘всякий’)</etym>

Ossetic (Scythian) from Sogdian-Khotanese dialects. However, in psalm 34 <hi rendition="#rend_italic">falæmblaj</hi> means not <hi rendition="#rend_italic">παρεμβολέτ</hi>, but <hi rendition="#rend_italic">κύκλω</hi>. The meaning shift camparound is improbable. This
word is possibly derived from the doubling of the adverb <ref type="xr" target="#entry_fal-"/> with the change in vowels (<hi rendition="#rend_italic">*pāram-puram</hi>); cf. also such doubling as <ref type="xr" target="#entry_tybar-tybur"/> shine, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_gybar-gybur"/> crash etc. (<bibl><ref type="bibl" target="#ref_РОсл."/><biblScope>588</biblScope></bibl>). Iron <ref type="xr" target="#entry_alfamblaj"/> around is derived from %ialy
falæmbylaj%i (<ref type="xr" target="#entry_aly"/> every).</etym>
