<w>kersey</w></mentioned> (from a place <hi rendition="#rend_italic">Kersey</hi> in Suffolk). In this case
Ossetic <hi rendition="#rend_italic">gæræze</hi> should be considered an old cultural borrowing from
Russian.</etym>
