<biblScope>256</biblScope></bibl>).</note>

group is understandable. However, serious phonetic difficulties arise on this path: the
absence of <c>-n-</c> in Ossetic, the different quality of vowels.<note type="footnote">Only <mentioned xml:lang="ydg"><lang/>

<gloss><q>laugh</q></gloss></mentioned> seems very close to the Ossetic. But this
closeness is illusory. An analysis of conjugated forms shows that here, too, the nasal
consonant was in the past (see: <bibl><ref type="bibl" target="#ref_Bielmeier"/>
