<etym xml:lang="ru">Образовано от слова <ref type="xr" target="#entry_cyxt"/> по
звуковым нормам детской речи: глухой начальный согласный с заменяется звонким
<hi rendition="#rend_italic">ʒ</hi> (ср. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_ʒæcc"/> ‘глаз’ из <ref type="xr" target="#entry_cæst"/>); фрикатив <hi rendition="#rend_italic">х</hi> замещается геминированным смычным
<hi rendition="#rend_italic">kk</hi> (ср. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_gakk"/> ‘нога’ из <ref type="xr" target="#entry_gūkk"/> ‘рука’ из <ref type="xr" target="#entry_kʼūx"/>). От
этого „детского“ слова образовано название каши из муки и сыра, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_ʒykka"/> (см.), которое вошло в общий („взрослый“)
язык.</etym>
<etym xml:lang="en">It is derived from the word <ref type="xr" target="#entry_cyxt"/> according to the phonetic rules of the child speech: a voiceless initial
consonant <hi rendition="#rend_italic">c</hi> is replaced by a voiced <hi rendition="#rend_italic">ʒ</hi> (cf <ref type="xr" target="#entry_ʒæcc"/> eye from <ref type="xr" target="#entry_cæst"/>); a
fricative consonant <hi rendition="#rend_italic">x</hi> is replaced by a geminate stop <hi rendition="#rend_italic">kk</hi> (cf. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_gakk"/> foot from <ref type="xr" target="#entry_gūkk"/> arm from <ref type="xr" target="#entry_kʼūx"/>).
The name of porridge made of flower and cheese, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_ʒykka"/> (see. this word), is derived from this word. It has
come into a common (“adult”) language.</etym>
