„акведук“, „водопровод“ (от <ref type="xr" target="#entry_don"/> ‘вода’ и <ref type="xr" target="#entry_cæwyn"/> ‘идти’). Эвфемистическое выражение вместо
<ref type="xr" target="#entry_mīzg"/>. Ср. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_xorʒon"/> anus, буквально „зернопровод“ (<bibl><ref type="bibl" target="#ref_РОсл."/><biblScope>610</biblScope></bibl>).</etym>

“aqueduct”, “water pipe” (from <ref type="xr" target="#entry_don"/> water and
<ref type="xr" target="#entry_cæwyn"/> go). It is an euphemistic
expression instead of <ref type="xr" target="#entry_mīzg"/>. Cf. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_xorʒon"/> anus, literally “grain pipe” (<bibl><ref type="bibl" target="#ref_РОсл."/><biblScope>610</biblScope></bibl>).</etym>
