<hi rendition="#rend_italic">kpt</hi> со значением ‘круглое’, ‘выпуклое’ и т. п. См. под <ref type="xr" target="#entry_tymbyl"/> ‘круглый’. Колебание значений (‘затылок’ ||
‘морда’), как в группе слов, приведенной под <ref type="xr" target="#entry_cægat"/> (‘лоб’ || ‘тыл’).</etym>

words, originated because of “sound symbolism” and characterized by sound type
<hi rendition="#rend_italic">kp</hi>, <hi rendition="#rend_italic">kpt</hi> with the meaning round, prominent etc. See under <ref type="xr" target="#entry_tymbyl"/> round. The variation of meanings (back
of the head || muzzle) is the same as in the word group, given under <ref type="xr" target="#entry_cægat"/> (forehead || rear).</etym>
