(ожидали бы <c>æ</c>, ср. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_kæt"/>, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_skʼæt"/>). Кроме того, надежно документируемое в осетинском значение

syllable (would expect <c>æ</c>, cf. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_kæt"/>, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_skʼæt"/>). In addition, the reliably documented meaning
<gloss><q>tier</q></gloss> in Ossetic suggests that there was a contamination with
