<hi rendition="#rend_italic">bun</hi>, где <hi rendition="#rend_italic">dor</hi> [см. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_dūr"/>] ‘камень’, а
|
|||
|
<hi rendition="#rend_italic">bun</hi> [см. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_byn"/>] употреблено здесь в значении
|
|||
|
‘пол’: „с каменным полом“ (см. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_dūr"/>). Обычное
|
|||
|
слово для ‘пещеры’ в современном осетинском — <ref type="xr" target="#entry_lægæt"/>. Балкарский сохранил еще некоторые утраченные в
|
|||
|
осетинском слова; см. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_8luxdun"/> ‘дубина’, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_8fadtavæn"/> ‘подстилка в обуви’ (см. <bibl><ref type="bibl" target="#ref_ОЯФ_I"/><biblScope>283</biblScope></bibl>).</etym>

<gloss><q>cave</q></gloss></mentioned>. It represents a compound of <hi rendition="#rend_italic">dor</hi>
|
|||
|
and <hi rendition="#rend_italic">bun</hi>, where <hi rendition="#rend_italic">dor</hi> [see <ref type="xr" target="#entry_dūr"/>] ‘stone’,
|
|||
|
and <hi rendition="#rend_italic">bun</hi> [see <ref type="xr" target="#entry_byn"/>] is used here in the
|
|||
|
meaning ‘floor’: “with stone floor” (see <ref type="xr" target="#entry_dūr"/>).
|
|||
|
A regular word for ‘cave’ in a moder Ossetic is <ref type="xr" target="#entry_lægæt"/>. In Balkar there are found some other words that are
|
|||
|
lost in Ossetic; see <ref type="xr" target="#entry_8luxdun"/> ‘cudgel’, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_8fadtavæn"/> ‘shoe mat’ (see <bibl><ref type="bibl" target="#ref_ОЯФ_I"/><biblScope>283</biblScope></bibl>).</etym>
