meaning of <hi rendition="#rend_italic">būc</hi> tender and <ref type="xr" target="#entry_būz"/> gratitude
is explained by the semantics of <mentioned corresp="#mentioned_d2665e258" xml:id="mentioned_d2665e321" xml:lang="inc-x-old"><lang/>
<w>bhūj-</w></mentioned> in its active meaning: please someone, delight,
satisfy, where 'cherish' (<hi rendition="#rend_italic">būc</hi>) and thank (<ref type="xr" target="#entry_būz"/>) come from. <mentioned corresp="#mentioned_d2665e265" xml:id="mentioned_d2665e328" xml:lang="xcl"><lang/>
