означающего соответствие с чем-либо. За основу взято, однако, не <hi rendition="#rend_italic">fænd-</hi>
(тогда мы имели бы <hi rendition="#rend_italic">*fænddag</hi>) а 3-е лицо ед. ч. наст, времени. Таким образом,
иронская форма получилась из <hi rendition="#rend_italic">fændy</hi> + <hi rendition="#rend_italic">ag</hi>, а дигорская из <hi rendition="#rend_italic">fændæ-uj</hi> +

un<hi rendition="#rend_italic"> ‘wish’ (a transitive verb) with the suffix </hi>-ag%i, which means
correspondence with something. However, it was base not on <hi rendition="#rend_italic">fænd-</hi> (then the
form would be <hi rendition="#rend_italic">*fænddag</hi>), but on the PRS.3SG form. Thus, the Iron form was
derived from <hi rendition="#rend_italic">fændy</hi> + <hi rendition="#rend_italic">ag</hi>, and the Digor form was derived from
