transition <hi rendition="#rend_italic">l</hi>→ <hi rendition="#rend_italic">v</hi> is typical for Permian region, as far as it is known. In

the North Permian dialect of Komi language every <hi rendition="#rend_italic">l</hi> (and not only the initial
|
|||
|
|
one and before the consonant) turns into <hi rendition="#rend_italic">v</hi>. And although this word was not
|
|||
|
|
found in the materials of the Komi language available to us, the correspondence
|
|||
|
|
is <hi rendition="#rend_italic">dalis</hi> || <hi rendition="#rend_italic">davis</hi> can be best explained in terms of the Ossetic-Permian
|
|||
|
|
