<etym xml:lang="ru">Производное от <ref type="xr" target="#entry_ird"/> ‘ясный’.
Наращение <hi rendition="#rend_italic"></hi> из <hi rendition="#rend_italic">-ka</hi>, как в <ref type="xr" target="#entry_fynk"/>, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_rong"/> и др. Развитие значения ‘ясный’ →
‘холодный’ не должно удивлять; ясные ночи бывают и холодными и сопровождаются
морозными утренниками. Неслучайно и <mentioned corresp="#mentioned_d5401e222" xml:id="mentioned_d5401e190" xml:lang="grc"><lang/>
<w>αίθριος</w></mentioned> (этимологически — родной брат осетинского <ref type="xr" target="#entry_ird"/>) означает не только ‘ясный’, но и
‘холодный’; ср. также <mentioned corresp="#mentioned_d5401e230" xml:id="mentioned_d5401e198" xml:lang="grc"><lang/>

An additional <hi rendition="#rend_italic"></hi> is from <hi rendition="#rend_italic">-ka</hi>, as in <ref type="xr" target="#entry_fynk"/>, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_rong"/> etc. The development of the meaning
clear into cold should not be surprising; clear nights are frequently cold
and with morning frost. It is not accidental that <mentioned corresp="#mentioned_d5401e190" xml:id="mentioned_d5401e222" xml:lang="grc"><lang/>
<w>αίθριος</w></mentioned> (from the etymological point of view it is a
