носовыми; ср. в этом отношении <ref type="xr" target="#entry_cæǵǵīnag"/> (из
<hi rendition="#rend_italic">cæg-ǵyn-ag</hi>), <ref type="xr" target="#entry_æfsæjnag"/> (из <hi rendition="#rend_italic">æfsæn-ag</hi>),
<hi rendition="#rend_italic">bændæjnag</hi> (из <hi rendition="#rend_italic">bændæn-ag</hi>) и т. п. В дигорском <hi rendition="#rend_italic">ciwan</hi> само уже может
значить ‘чугунный котел’, без прибавления <hi rendition="#rend_italic">agæ</hi>. В иронском <ref type="xr" target="#entry_cwan"/> в значении ‘чугун’ уже утрачено и появляется только в
<ref type="xr" target="#entry_cwajnag"/>; ср. и. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_cængæt"/> ‘чугун’. См. %r2%r<ref type="xr" target="#entry_cwan"/> | <hi rendition="#rend_italic">ciwan</hi> и <ref type="xr" target="#entry_ag"/>.</etym>
<etym xml:lang="en">The composition of <ref type="xr" target="#entry_cwan"/> ‘cast
iron’ and <ref type="xr" target="#entry_ag"/> ‘kettle’ with a regular appearance
of <hi rendition="#rend_italic">j</hi> before nazals; cf. in this respect <ref type="xr" target="#entry_cæǵǵīnag"/> (from <hi rendition="#rend_italic">cæg-ǵyn-ag</hi>), <ref type="xr" target="#entry_æfsæjnag"/> (from <hi rendition="#rend_italic">æfsæn-ag</hi>), <hi rendition="#rend_italic">bændæjnag</hi> (from
<hi rendition="#rend_italic">bændæn-ag</hi>) etc. In Digor the word <hi rendition="#rend_italic">ciwan</hi> itself can mean ‘cast iron
kettle’ so far, without adding <hi rendition="#rend_italic">agæ</hi>. In Iron <ref type="xr" target="#entry_cwan"/> in the meaning ‘cast iron’ has already been lost and
