‘под’ и <ref type="xr" target="#entry_arm"/> ‘рука’. Слово <ref type="xr" target="#entry_arm"/> употребляется сейчас в значении ‘кисть руки’ или
‘ладонь’ (ср, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_cong"/>), но в <hi rendition="#rend_italic">dæl-arm</hi> и в
некоторых других сложных словах сохраняется старое значение ‘рука’, ‘вся рука’.

‘under’ and <ref type="xr" target="#entry_arm"/> ‘arm’. The word <ref type="xr" target="#entry_arm"/> is used now in the meaning ‘hand’ or ‘palm’ (cf. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_cong"/>), but in <hi rendition="#rend_italic">dæl-arm</hi> and in some other
compounds an old meaning ‘arm’ remains. Cf. the derivation pattern <mentioned corresp="#mentioned_d785e135" xml:id="mentioned_d785e166" xml:lang="lt"><lang/>
