значения этого глагола: ‘выкармливать’, ‘содержать’. Семантически последняя
этимология меньше удовлетворяет.</etym>

relation to <ref type="xr" target="#entry_xæssyn"/> ‘carry’, bearing in mind
figurative meanings of this verb: ‘bring up’, ‘support’. From the semantic point
of view, the latter etymology is less satisfactory.</etym>
